We proudly offer our Moon & Stars collection made with ECONYL® yarn which is a regenerated fiber made from pre and post-consumer nylon waste and aims to be a green alternative to the original product which is made from a derivative of oil. The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.
Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity, That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil-based nylon and has the potential to be recycled infinitely, without ever losing its quality.
ECONYL® regenerated nylon is then processed into yarns and polymers for the fashion industry, therefore we use ECONYL® regenerated nylon to create brand new products.
For every 10,000 tonnes of ECONYL® raw materials: 70,000 barrels of crude oil are saved, and 65,100 tonnes of CO2 emissions are avoided ECONYL® regenerated yarn can be recycled infinitely without losing quality, supporting the vision of a more circular fashion industry.
